Private pages in WordPress can only be viewed by users that are logged in. </p> <p>If you redirect to a private page and the user isn't logged in they will get a 404 error. If you are seeing a 404 then it is because it doesn't recognize that you are logged in. I can't see on the drop down for a "page" confirmation message selection, a private page. The form should direct the person to another page on the site that has three possible informational pieces for download. This secondary page is also a Gravity Form and it should be a private page so that it is not viewed in the usual navigational menu structure but only when requesting a piece of "free" literature to download.</p> <p>I am using the Studio Press WP theme, Genesis - Streamline (Child). I am able to make the second page a private page so that it is only viewed when a free piece of lit is requested. However, when I edit the form to use "confirmation" by page, the private page is not listed under "page" options to redirect. </p> <p>To correct this, I made the confirmation page a public page but by doing so it appears in the main navigational structure, on view to anyone.
