We haven't had any widespread reports of it not working from customers. We have a bunch of sites of our own running the plugin and automatic upgrade worked fine. If it is not working it is going to be something with your WordPress install that is preventing it from working, it's going to be site specific.</p> <p>We have run into sites that have things locked down so that automatic upgrades and plugin upgrades have to occur via FTP from within the WordPress admin. This setup isn't compatible with Gravity Forms automatic upgrade because we don't provide FTP access. But this is because the site owner chose to lock things down this way.</p> <p>Unfortunately plugins for WordPress are not like stand alone applications because of how they work. Any plugins you have running can cause conflicts with other plugins if they aren't written properly. Your WordPress settings can cause problems with plugins, your hosting settings can cause problems with plugins, your file permissions can cause problems with plugins. The list goes on. </p> <p>If you need to use a different email address than the one you used to pay for Gravity Forms, contact us and we will change it. Your support access is tied to your PayPal email address because thats the only way we can verify who you are in order to give you access to the appropriate areas of support site. It is supposed to blend in with the rest of the WordPress dashboard, we aren't about branding everything within the dashboard. A large number of our users use this plugin on client sites, hosted solutions, white label solutions, etc. and therefore we chose not to brand it for that very reason.</p> <p>They don't call it WordPress Pages on the left navigation or WordPress Posts on the left hand navigation, they call it Pages and Posts. Gravity Forms adds Forms capabilities to WordPress and we chose to keep simple and to the point: Forms.</p> <p>You do not have 120 hours (5 days) to register. You have 120 hours to use the download link provided by the ecommerce service e-junkies.com which provides the pay-to-download service used by Gravity Forms and 90% of the premium theme developers selling themes. This 120 hour window has nothing to do with us, it is an e-junkies.com limit on the download link that they email you.</p> <p>The 120 hours has nothing to do with registering or activating Gravity Forms. You can take as long as you want to input your license key. You can never input your license key if you want. That link should point to the "Forms - Settings" page within the wp-admin page.</p> <p>And Carl's explanation did not make things any clearer. "...go to the Settings page under the Forms navigation item." Really? FORMS? How about "Gravity Forms"?? You might think "well, Forms is a new dropdown..." bla bla, but it went by me so easily, as it was not branded. And shouldn't your options/settings be down in the WP Settings list where ALL the other plugin's options are listed?</p> <p>You will find a "Forms" dropdown on the left of your Dashboard, in that select "Settings" to input your License Key.
