Hi Gchinola,

We have an updated version of the User Registration Add-on that resolves this issue. Send me an email at david@rocketgenius.com and I will get this over to you.

I just had the same thing happen. I have a form that asks a yes or no question to register the user. The preset value is 'no'. There's a registration condition to only register if the answer is 'yes'. http://cl.ly/0P420q190g1c2z3i272k

When the form is submitted it's spits back that "This email address is already registered"

Hi Ted,

I haven't been able to recreate this issue on my end. If you could send me an WP login and FTP access to your site, I'd be happy to take a look. :)

Send to david@rocketgenius.com

I have notified our developer who works on the User Registration Add-On and he will be looking into this issue.

What you describe does sound like a bug. If the condition isn't met then the User Registration related validation and functionality should not be triggered.

I'm not aware of any other known "bugs" with the User Registration Add-On, if you can point those out to me. Most of the issues related to the User Registration Add-On are not bugs but rather feature limitations.

Hi,

I am trying to use the registration condition on a form to submit a form and create profile in some cases, and just submit form in others (no profile creation). I have a registration condition, but it appears to be failing when it should pass and no registration is completed.

Also, when the condition is not met, and no registration should be completed, it is still validating the email, which is the targeted username for registration hook (as if it would try to register that email) even though the registration condition is not met. It returns validation error "This email address is already registered" on the email field.

Please let me know status of this functionality - seems like there are other known bugs in forums and I don't want to spend time trying to use if it is not likely to work for me.

Thanks,
Ted
