			<description>&#60;p&#62;Yes, what you can do is when editing your drop down do this...&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;- Edit your drop down&#60;br /&#62;
- Check the Enable Values checkbox&#60;br /&#62;
- Make the first drop down choice label say &#34;Select A Breed&#34; and leave the value for that empty/blank.&#60;/p&#62;
&#60;p&#62;Now if you have set that field to Required, and the option select has a blank value... it won't validate.  So it will force them to make another selection.  As long as the other selections have values, they can then select another choice.

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm missing the part that forces a selection upon the user beyond what appears in the field by default. I have a list of dog breeds in alphabetical order. When the forms loads the breed &#34;Affenpinscher&#34; will be selected if they don't pick otherwise as it fills the field. Do I just insert a blank and the form then knows a required field has not been selected?
