For the values that have HTML in them, edit those fields and select the enable values option. Then give them a value that does not have HTML. Then reconfigure the routing to use the updates values. Test and see if that works.

The database was only down for a day, but it came back up as Irene was arriving, I know you are all behind because of the storm, so I'm not complaining about a lack of response, but it has occurred to me that you put this aside because the link I have above didn't work shortly after I posted my question.

Hi,
I have a test form at http://dev.web.uri.edu/testsite/test-of-contact-form/
This works fine to route to different emails when the choice that it is routing on is a simple text string. For example the choice at the bottom of departments, "Ruth Test - testing of various things." sends to the correct email address when chosen. All of the real choices under "Department to be contacted" include links to websites. For example the displayed choice for "Admissions, Undergraduate" looks like this in the form editor "<b>Admissions, Undergraduate</b> - Requests for Catalogs, Applications, Campus Tours, Open House Dates. (Website)"

Those text strings work fine for everything except for notification routing. I'm guessing that the string that is sent when the form is submitted never matches if there is an embedded web address.

Is there a way around this?

I did search and found lots on routing, but not this exact problem.

Thanks for your help,

Ruth
