Hi g0shu4,

While there's currently no integration with the new signature add-on, I've developed a new plugin that will easily (relatively) and automatically create PDFs based on user-submitted data with the option to email it to the user / admin. I'm sure it wouldn't be too hard to incorporate the signature created via the signature add-on.

Take a look at Gravity Forms PDF Extended, which you can download from the Wordpress Plugins repository: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-pdf-extended/. You'll find all the documentation on the development page I setup, too. http://www.blueliquiddesigns.com.au/index.php/gravity-forms-pdf-extended-plugin.

Do you have a link to your form online please?

I think a checkbox to "terms and conditionals" that they are required to check is the commonly followed practice for things like this.

I too need to have the signatures tied to specific contracts. The submission never displays anything more than the signature itself so I don't know how utilize this feature in a way that's legally binding. As far as I can tell, the only way to achieve this is may by an "I accept" check-box next to the contract itself followed by the signature field?? If anyone else has any insight on this it would be greatly appreciated.

There appears to be a new PDF plugin in the Plugin repository. Looks pretty simple, seems to just render the print view for an entry. It seems to get you at least half way there. But there is a bug in the signature plugin that prevents the image of the signature from being displayed in the print view.

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-pdf/

It's not hard to make a PDF version of the filled in form. Just hook into the form submission, use a PDF converter and then save the PDF.
You would need PHP knowledge though ;-)

Oh and I'm not entirely sure if the signature would come out looking like it should (don't know how it's getting saved).

I would love to see this too! Right now I have setup a form with signatures, where as the notification emails are formatted to create a contract with signature fields placed where I need them. Then I print the email "as pdf" and save for my records. It works fine, but it would be great is I could have it automatically done.

The issue with that is allowing HTML text fields to be output and placed [on the pdf] where needed, which is currently not able to be done.

To further discuss this...

The point of the signature is to give the form more legal power. If whatever form actually does become a piece of evidence, it will be more effective if you have everything saved cleanly as a single document. Imagine if you're before a judge and you have to start talking about how different fields relate to each other in a database!

I've been playing with the new signature add-on and it is really cool and very functional.

Is there a way to save the entire form with the signature as a pdf.

I wonder what the legal usefulness of this will be if all you can do is save the signature as an image file without the other info. For legal reasons, is imperative that it is clear what the user was signing - that the signature is tied to specific answers on the form. Outputting a complete pdf with all form info and the signature would be ideal.
