Some web hosts lock down the sendmail capabilities and limit what can be done via PHP. </p> <p>One of the limitations we have seen is some hosts only allow you to include 1 email address in the Send To, which means you'd have to include any additional emails via the BCC. I can't tell you why they do this, i'm just letting you know some hosts do it. </p> <p>BCC is designed for including additional recipients which is why it isn't as limited as the Send To. BCC is typically more appropriate anyway as the recipients don't see a list of all the other recipients. Not all web servers support passing multiple email addresses in the Send To field.
