The advertisers' emails are just stored in WordPress under their user accounts.

If that's the case, then what ninjawp posted should work fine, You want the notification to go to the author of the post I believe. There is no need to enter anything manually and no need to ask the visitor to enter information you already have for that page.

Thanks for the reply, Chris, and sorry for the slow response. The advertisers' emails are just stored in WordPress under their user accounts. As far as I can see, the only way to get enquiries to automatically go to the advertiser is if I get the enquirer to type in the name of the advertiser they're contacting. This way the advertiser will be identifiable by GF each time.

This would be a bit of a pain for the enquirer, because they'll think 'Why do I need to type this information in? I'm already on the advertiser's page...'

Do you agree that this is my only option?

Ah of course, it's at the bottom of the notifications screen! Obviously didn't look hard enough!

dtgreen, there are admin and user notifications already. Does that not work in your case? Where do the emails come from that you will be sending the notification to?

Can this be done within the form Chris, or is a hook needed to send?

I'm in a similar position, developing a simple quotation system using GF, but need admin and the user to get a copy of the e-mail: in my case I'll be collecting the e-mail address within the form.

Cheers,
Dave

Where are you storing the advertiser's email? You will need to have that information available in the form and then send an admin or user notification to them.

I've looked through the forum and can't see this specific question anywhere - apologies in advance if I've missed it!

My website is a business directory for proofreaders. I want to set my Gravity Form up so that when a visitor goes onto an advertiser's page (e.g. http://findaproofreader.co.uk/listings/full-proof/), the enquiry goes to both Admin but also that particular advertiser (i.e. Full Proof in this instance).

Is this possible, or do I have to just go into 'Entries' each time and manually enter the advertiser's email address?

I hope this makes sense.
