Newly created fields don't have an automatic default value. The ones previously created did have and it behaved in a 'good' way, clearing the value when the focus was on the field as the cursor entered. The new fields take a default value from the advanced properties box, but this does not clear on getting focus. I have seen posts about ways to implement this behaviour, although for our current purpose/design, we don't want any default values so it is not a worry right now. We have set up separate field labels, and now want the field content to be empty and remain empty, unless a site visitor makes an entry in the field.</p> <p>I am sure this is really easy - at least I hope so - but it has so far defied our efforts. Have searched the forum and read the docs, so if it is there and we have missed it, sorry.</p> <p>Any help appreciated. </p>
