Gravity Forms does not support user created form markup. You must use the form builder to build your form, and then CSS to style the forms. You can't write your own markup and then point it to the form processor.

As far as CSS styling goes, Gravity Forms uses it's own custom classes that you can then target and style.

Hello folks,

I am interested in Gravity Forms but have a question...

I use a web-based planning system for my business. It has a built in form system for when clients request more info and it shoves the data directly into the database.

Now, I know for a fact that I can generate my own form code using HTML as long as I use the correct names for the textfields, dropdowns, etc and then set the form action to send the data (by querystring I guess) into the system.

Can I do this with GF? Set a location for the form action? Do I have full access so I can set the names of the form components like text boxes, text areas, dropdowns and so on?

If I do then it's worth a punt at the price to make a nice pretty form.

Also...if my Wordpress them uses CSS to format text boxes and so on, how does GF get around this? Does it use it's own custom classes or???

Many thanks!
