Hi there!

I know, I know...late to the party. But, I've a follow-up question to this convo:

Carl, you say *one* calculator is doable with GF (but not 2 separate ones running side-by-side). Yet, is it possible to generate a single calculator with two running "totals" - one factoring in an add'l option?

(Sample page: http://scooperla.com/wp-content/uploads/sample_calc_pages.png .)

Thanks for your time!
~Carlos

Currently this calculator isn't possible out of the box using the built in features. You could accomplish having ONE of them, but not a comparison the way you have it. It would be possible to do, but it would require custom jQuery to accomplish what you want to do.

So if you want a solution that works out of the box, it won't be a good fit. If you are fine with rolling up your sleeves and implementing some custom jQuery (or having a developer assist you with it) then you could use Gravity Forms for this.

I've been asked to include a page on a site I'm working on that includes a "cost saving calculator". Basically it works out how much someone would pay to have their property managed, taking in to account fees, interest rate, etc.
Essentially it would be very similar to the calculator on this page: http://www.dedonapropertymanagement.com.au/saving-calculator
There would be no data stored in a database, just values on the screen (some default and some entered by the user), along with some simple calculations behind the page to arrive at the final value.
Can Gravity Forms do this?
