&#60;p&#62;You can use the CSS ready classes of gf_left_half and gf_right_half for those fields if you like.  You can read about CSS ready classes which are included in Gravity Forms here:&#60;br /&#62;

&#60;p&#62;In your screenshot, you would give phone the CSS class of gf_left_half and fax the CSS class of gf_right_half.  You can assign custom class names on the advanced tab of each field.  You could do something similar for email and company name.

			<description>&#60;p&#62;I'm looking at one of these forms. There is no obvious way to move &#34;fax&#34; so that it utilizes the available space. It makes it look awful. Why is there no simple solution for problems such as thing. We just purchased several licenses and are feeling a bit bewildered.&#60;br /&#62;
In short, what is a simple solution for putting two elements on one line or anything to fix the ugliness.&#60;/p&#62;
