We will be launching a MediaWiki powered documentation area soon and will include a Reported Conflicts area when we do.

I think having a "Reported Conflicts" with the understanding that these are purely reports from users would be helpful.

Even if it is not fully reliable, for a user having trouble, checking that list may prevent hours of troubleshooting if they find a match there.

You could even use a GF Form to let the page be self-maintained <smile>.

It would also be a service to other developers. As increasing numbers of serious WordPress users become aware of Gravity Forms, and especially if some of the announced enhancements are realized, your plugin can expect to become ubiquitous. Displaying custom fields in posts and pages will revolutionize WP for many applications and make several other plugins like contact directories completely redundant. Anyone with half an eye will be licensing GF. Then it becomes quite important for other plugin developers to correct code that conflicts with Gravity.

I've used several forms plugins and nothing comes close to GF. I mean seriously, not even in the same country close. It's advantages are overwhelming so everything should be done to encourage compatibility.

The major issue with this is keeping up with that list, we don't have time to constantly test other peoples poor code. Plugins change all the time, so the issue is listing a conflict when in fact it's been resolved. So the list would be unreliable as it could list plugins that have a conflict when in fact they have already been resolved. We will look into making a page that lists conflicts, but it won't be the most reliable resource for this very reason.

Currently we don't have a single post or repository for this. It's a good idea so I'm sure we can set something up. Thanks for the report, we'll look into it.

Is there a post or FAQ that can be updated with known conflicts? I could not find one, and a search on "conflict" yields a lot of repetitive results.

If there is not a single source, perhaps admin would consider creating one that doesn't include all the back and forth about work-arounds but just a list of known conflicts.

My purpose is just to report that I have discovered a conflict with Event Manager Extended. Gravity fails to save forms if EME is activated.
