Great thanks alot Richard, sadly the perks plugin is more expensive than the plugin itself but oh well. This thread can be closed!

Yes the ability to restrict the number of entries in the form settings is available for all the licenses.

You can't limit the number of times a choice in a dropdown is selected 'out of the box' with Gravity Forms, but it is possible using an add on, the Gravity Perks plugin for example has a perk (feature) called 'GP Limit Choices' which

enables you to specify a limit per choice on your multi-choice field. If a choice reaches its specified limit it will not no longer appear in the field on the front-end. The choice is not removed from the field entirely enabling you to adjust the limit from the Form Editor.

Regards,
Richard

Aah sweet! And that option is available in the personal package?

Additional question (Im for sure buying this btw, no worries, that first option was the minimal demand):

Let's say in the example I want to add a dropdown menu in which people can select at which table discussion they want a seat in, is it also possible to add seperate counters to the different tables in the menu?

It sure is, in the form settings there is an option to restrict the form to a certain number of entries as shown here http://i.imgur.com/EpSbOuY.png?1 and when that limit is reached you can have a message displayed.

Regards,
Richard

Hello people from Gravity Forms,

We are considering purchasing gravity forms for a website. But we are looking for a specific sort of functionality.

We are looking for a functionality that gives us the ability to implement some form of a counter that a certain form can only be used a certain number of times.

This is because we want to make a form where people can reserve a seat on a round-table discussion. And there are only a certain amount of seats available on a table. So when say like 9 seats are reserved, the form should no longer be active/available for input.

Is something like this possible with Gravity?
