Thank you very much! Looking forward to the upcoming enhancements for the conditional logic. Will take a look at it as soon as available! Thanks again and Happy New Year!

We are in the process of updating the conditional logic functionality as Chris mentioned above.

We will be adding a bunch of new features, including greater than/less than support for fields where the value would be numeric so that greater than/less than type functionality will work properly. We will also be enhancing conditional logic so that non-select fields can also trigger conditional logic.

So for example, based on user input in a text field... the value they enter could trigger conditional logic and display an additional field.

Currently conditional logic can only be triggered by selection based fields: drop downs, radio buttons and checkboxes. So we are expanding and enhancing that.

That will be coming relatively soon. It's one of the things we are actively working on over the next 2 weeks and hopefully can be released at the end of January.

Unrelated to conditional logic, you had mentioned calculations also. We also have plans to add calculation capabilities to the Number field. So that you can use the Number field to display a calculated total based on a custom equation you configure when you setup the field. The equation you customize will be able to use the values of other fields to dynamically calculate it's value as fields are filled out.

This particular calculation enhancement will most likely begin development after the conditional logic enhancements are done. But from what you described, the conditional logic enhancements we will be introducing should accomplish what you want to do.

This is a very nice addition and I like it but it doesn't help me with my issue at hand. My issue would be resolved if at the top line where it now shows "SHOW this field if ALL/ANY of the following match:" it would allow to state "SHOW this field if TRUE LINES are GREATER THAN / LESS THAN"

This would be absolutely super magic!!!!!

Hope you know what I mean ... the possibilities with this addition are astronomous!!!!!!!

Thank you for your reply! Appreciate it. immi

Conditional logic is going to be enhanced in the next release to include less than/greater than functionality. Sneak peek was shown here. Does that help you at all?

Hello, I love gravityforms and there is one thing that ought to make me think this is the best thing in the world: Can you please try to put a little calculation function. Let me explain. You currently have the conditional logic. and I can say display if all or any of the parameters are true. What would be even better is if you add the following little thing (let me try to explain with my little English):
Take an HTML field which is the end of a questionnaire and which will be display or not depending on the filled in fields above. The HTML field will show as a result the advice based on the answers above. There are various HTML fields at the end because there could be various advices depending on the answers. Well that's all already there because I could select the conditionals for each of the Advices and then it will be displayed or not...
NOW HERE COMES THE THING WHICH I WOULD LIKE:
Make at the top of the conditional something that says "Total of 'trues lines' > or < [ enter a number ]". This will be a third option instead of the "all" and "any" ... What will it do? For each lines which can be added as a conditional line it will now just count the true statements. If the true statements are bigger than the number entered behind the total of 'true lines' then this HTML field will be displayed.
I know you have deferred mathematical functions not to be provided in the gravity forms so far but should you add this one then your forms can work as an advisory tool. If you want I can draft you an example to explain further. Let me know what you think? Would be super great if you can work this out and I shall guarantee you that we will implement this on a music magazine in Germany. :-).
Thank you very much!!!!
