Export data doesn't have sorting options. It always exports by entry date. There isn't an option to select the sort when exporting. We may add it in the future, but currently it sorts by entry date by default.

The export is done as a CSV as it is designed for you to then import that CSV file into Excel, Google Spreadsheet, etc. Which is where you would do all your sorting, etc. with the data.

Sorting data on the Entries screen only maintains that sort while you are viewing the entries and paging through the entries you sorted.

It doesn't maintain what sort you selected if you go to another area of the WordPress admin and then return to Entries. Because if you click on "Entries" on the left hand admin sidebar it isn't passing any sorting values so it loads the Entries page using the defaults.

I guess the subject says it all, but no matter what I do, it seems that data is always sorted by Entry Date when ever I come back to the Entries Page. I suppose that is affecting the sort order for my export data as well becasue it's always by entry date.

The Entry Page thing isn't THAT important to me because I can always sort it easily on the screen, but how can adjust the sort order in my exported data?
