Okay . . . I figured it out, including the labels. Cheers!

Thanks Kevin . . . I think I may be able to Forrest Gump my way though that.

However, how do I style the field labels (and * required label) so they don't display above the fields?

Thnx in anticipation

This is possible, but it's not something Gravity Forms does out of the box. You could use the default values and a little jQuery scripting to make it happen.

Hi All,

I'm currently redesigning one of my sites and attempting to transition a squeeze page opt-in form to utilize the MailChimp add-on for Gravity.

I previously hand coded and styled the opt-in form to use Aweber. Here's what the form used to look like:
http://www.pacificnewmedia.co.nz/archives/promptdog/old_optin.png

Here's what the form looks like now with my first pass at integrating Gravity:
http://www.pacificnewmedia.co.nz/blog/5-step-plan/

Note that the MailChimp add-on works great, no issues there. My problem is with how to style the two form fields so that the field labels are replaced by pre-populated field values . . . values that dissappear on focus (as was the case with the old opt-in form above).

CSS is not my strong suit and this is new territory for me :-\

I realise that there will also be issues with error messages as well, but I'd really like to get the field labels sorted as described above first and then I'll likely contract one of the experts here to handle that even more complex issue.

Any help greatly appreciated.
