That will store the content submitted in that field in your form, in the postmeta table with a meta key of "unpublishednote". That value will then be shown beneath the post in the post editor, assuming you are displaying custom fields beneath the post editor.</p> <p>I'm not sure what you mean about the drop down or choice of types. That will collect the data in a custom field, which can be displayed beneath your post (if you are showing custom fields) and it will not be published as part of the post (unless you specifically add it to the content template or your post template to show that custom field.)
