I just replied to your email. I temporarily changed the Send to on the Admin Notification to my own email address (a gmail.com address) and submitted a form and I received both the Admin and User Notifications.

This means there is something on your Yahoo account that is preventing you from receiving the Admin email. You may want to check your spam box to see if it flagged it as spam for some reason.

I provided more details in the email.

If you received the User notification then there is something else up with receiving the Admin notification. Something with what you put for your settings, or possibly spam filtering going on with your email that is preventing you from receiving the email.

Can you use the Contact Us form and send me a login for your WordPress install that has administration access? Then I can do some testing and see if I receive the Admin notification emails.

I did all you pointed out above.

The good news is that the Notification to the User went out fine, and I received the entry in the Gravity Forms plugin area. But I didn't get the admin notification.

I did install WP Mail SMTP, and I changed my mail settings to work with GoDaddy as Contact From 7 had required. Contact From 7 didn't work for me at all -- hence my switch to Gravity Forms.

Any suggestions?

Did you setup your notification emails in Gravity Forms? I have had one user today that wasn't receiving notification emails but it was because he had not setup the notification emails. To access your Notification email settings do this:

- Edit Forms
- Hover over the form you want and click on "Notifications"
- Set your notification settings for Admin Notification
- Set your notification settings for User Notification

The Notifications require you to populate the Subject and Message otherwise it won't send the email.

If you have done the above it could be how your web host is setup. Gravity Forms uses the built in WordPress mail function to send mail. It doesn't have it's own mail function. Depending on your web host, WordPress may not send email without using an SMTP plugin such as WP Mail SMTP.

Hi,

I purchased Gravity Forms this morning. I created a form and tested it, but have not received the test information in my admin e-mail box. And I did the test e-mail has not received a confirmation.

Are there specific e-mail settings needed for it to work properly? Like should I use SMTP or PHP...
