I'm unable to replicate this issue following the exact steps you provided above. I have no issues with the Product field retaining the price before saving the form. I can edit it, set the price, close it, edit it again and the price is retained. I can add multiple product fields and do the same, all without saving the form.

Nobody else has reported this issue and as I am unable to replicate it then it appears to be something specific to how your sites are setup. If you provide us with a WordPress admin login for a site having the issue we can take a look and see if we can determine why it is happening. You can send this information to us via our Contact Us form and reference this forum post.

Ok, I tested RC4 and RC3.12 with the same result.

1) start new form in form editor
2) click the Product button in the Pricing Fields to add a new field
3) click the edit button
4) at this point the price is $0.00; change the price to $10.00
5) click the close button
6) the price didn't stick at $10.00; instead it switched back to $0.00
7) same as above except if before clicking the close button, click the save form button and price is saved normally

Those are the results on 2 different sites over 2 different hosts with a relatively similar but set of plugins (both sites on Genesis themework child themes).

I'm unable to recreate this issue on my test site running GF 1.5 RC4.

Can you provide step by step instructions, as detailed as possible, on how to recreate this. I did what you described above and I may be unintentionally missing a step. I was able to add a Product field to my form, edit it, set the price, close it, edit it again, change the price, etc. without ever having to save the form first.

Using GF 1.5 RC4 in the form editor, I added a Product pricing field and set the price to $100. I then clicked the Edit button to edit the price. I changed it to $120. I then clicked the close button but it went back to $100. The only way to save the new price is to save the form before closing the Edit screen.
