Oh, I understand that it's not a replacement for a commerce solution. I use Shopp for those. However, when you have pricing fields and things like the Total do the expected thing (update based on changes in Quantity, etc) then having a Shipping field that is so limited is like tripping at the goal line. Of course, the line between allowing some basic options and having it blow up into a quagmire isn't alway clear I imagine.

In any event, thanks for the reply.

The shipping field is basic because Gravity Forms order form capabilities are not intended to be a replacement for a more robust ecommerce solution. It's never going to have some of the more advanced features of a shopping cart because it's designed for simple order form situations.

We can look at enhancing the Shipping options in a future release.

If you can't make it work the way it is now, another option is to create your own customization or hire a developer to implement a customization that implements shipping the way you need it to work.

I'm building a simple order form that allows people to order varying quantities of different products. I need to allow for three different shipping prices, one for 0-3 products, another for 4-11 and a third price for 12+. The Shipping field doesn't seem to support any logic at all as far as I can see - it's merely a flat price per product (seemingly without regard to the quantity).

I could simply tie a Shiping price to each product but 1) since Shipping seems to ignore quantity that would leave me with the same shipping price whether a customer ordered 1 or 10 of that product and 2) it doesn't actually solve the case I'm working on where shipping goes to free at 12+.

Any thoughts on how this might be done? I'm kind of surprised the Shipping field is so lacking in options.
