There is no difference between Gravity Forms v1.6.1 and v1.6.2 as far as the form editor goes. None. So it shouldn't look quite different. Something else is going on.

I'm a little confused because you said that you updated to 1.6.2 but when you try to automatically update via plug-in update it fails. So if the automatic update is failing how did you update from 1.6.2 to 1.6.2?

The only differences between Gravity Forms v1.6.1 and v1.6.2 are bug fixes and under the hood enhancements. No visual changes. Everything should look the same.

It's difficult to tell based on what you described what the issue is. It sounds like it's not installed properly. Here is what I would suggest:

- Download Gravity Forms v1.6.2 from the Plugin Downloads page here on this site
- Login to your WordPress Dashboard
- Go to your Plugins page
- Deactivate Gravity Forms
- Delete Gravity Forms
- Go to Add New Plugins
- Select Upload
- Upload and install the Gravity Forms v1.6.2 zip file
- Activate

Let me know how it goes.

Hi, We use wordpress 3.2.1 for our site and we have the gravity forms plug-in. On Monday it said there was an update for gravity forms available 1.6.2 instead of 1.6.1 so I updated it but now the forms written in 1.6.1 are not behaving properly and the forms editor is quite different and the entries cant be exported! When you try to automatically update gravity forms via plug-in update it fails. Can I go back to gravity forms 1.6.1? If so how do I do this. Where is the data saved when you use gravity forms as while the forms have information in them we cant see where the data is held in order to extract the data manually. UnaHennessy
