There is no special upgrade pricing. Upgrades aren't a discount mechanism.

If you want to upgrade to the next level we credit you the value of your existing license in the form of a coupon code. This way you do not lose the money you have already invested in the product.

If you purchased the Multi-Site License ($99) and would like to upgrade to the Developer License ($199) we generate you a coupon code equal to the amount you paid for the Multi-Site License ($99) so you would upgrade to the next level by paying the difference ($100).

A form is used to request the coupon code because it is created specifically for that customer.

Why, in order to receive upgrade pricing, do we have to submit a form?

Surely it would be fairly simply to publish a grid of upgrade prices from each grade to another and just let us click a buy button?

Or are you giving preferential pricing to some? Are some customers more equal than others?
