Gravity Forms doesn't currently support this level of granular access controls. WordPress works on a role based level and in the future it is actually moving away from user specific capabilities in favor or only role based access control. We might create an add-on that provides this type of functionality in the future, but currently it isn't possible.

I'd like to have users access my site to make forms for sharing, but I'm having trouble with permissions.

In the Members plugin which is suggested by Gravity Forms, there is a role for editing forms and for creating forms.

Unfortunately, I really don't want someone to be able to edit any forms other than their own forms.

This would be similar to the permissions that my users have for posts. A user is able to create posts. They can view and edit the posts they've created. They cannot edit anyone else's posts, but they can view them.

But, if I give the user permission to edit and create forms then they have the ability to edit other people's forms. And if I just give them permission to create forms, they lose the ability to see their own or other forms and go back and edit their own forms.

Just wondering if anyone has any thoughts on this.

Thanks,
Mark
