Hi Carl,

Thanks! That totally clarifies it for me :-)

I knew it was a simple step I was missing.

Much appreciated!
Cheers,

Did you add those fields to your form?

The User Registration Add-On doesn't add fields to your form. It simply allows you to map fields that exist on your form to User Registration data that will be created when the form is submitted.

You have to add the fields to your form in the Form Editor for them to exist on your form.

Yes, if you want the user to enter the bio you would add a Paragraph Text field to your form, name it Biography or whatever you want for the Field Label and then configure the User Registration setup so that the Bio user meta maps to that form field.

Hi there,

So I created a form and then did the User Registration bit. When I preview the form it shows all the form fields but does not show the user meta fields I added (twitter facebook etc).

Should it? Am I missing a step?

Also can the user enter their bio in the form so it shows up in the profile?
Scratching my head!
Thanks and cheers,
Gil
