Thanks so much for your advice. Unfortunately, I am not a coder and would not like to take chances by changing your plugin's code.

However, I would definitely like to add this as a 'Feature Request' for a future Gravity Form update as in my experience this 'message along with delayed re-direct' works very well.

May be, you can add this feature as a fourth option along with three options already present there.

Regards.

What you want to do is not a built in feature. A form can either display a message or it can redirect the user. It can't do both.

That doesn't mean you can't accomplish what you are describing. You could implement this by selecting the option to display a text confirmation and along with the message you want the user to see you could include javascript code to handle doing a delayed page redirect after a time delay.

The text message supports HTML which means you can include javascript along with your text message to achieve the behavior you have described. I would also suggest including a link to the page that you are redirecting to as part of the text message just in case there's an issue with the redirect happening (ex. JS disabbled).

I don't have any javascript code that does what you are describing but it's common enough functionality that you should be able to find code snippets via a Google Search.

Hi,

Right now, there are two options to select from once a user clicks the 'submit' button - message or page re-direct.

Pls let me know if it's possible to get both these done. For example, after a user clicks the 'submit' button, first the person sees a message and after a preset delay of a few seconds, gets re-directed to a pre-specified page.

I have been using this in the 'Fast Secure Contact Form' before recently purchasing 'Gravity Forms' and it proved extremely helpful.

Pls let me know if there is any way to achieve this with Gravity forms.

Thanks.
