They are dynamically populating form fields either using hooks and PHP or by passing data to it via the query string. Search on the forums for "dynamically populate" or "dynamic fields" and similar search queries and you will find numerous posts on how to populate a field dynamically.

Hi guys,
I came acrsoss the website SEOGadget.com that uses gravity forms for job advertisements and applications. It works great!

I am creating a site which I want to do something similar for model, where a director can post a job as a post and then models can apply for a casting through another form.

I have set the post up to advertise the casting no problem and created a page template and it works well.

What I can't work out is how SEOgadget.com have configured their install so that a user can then apply for that casting. On that site, you clcik on an apply button which takes you to another form where the name of the person advertsisng the job is dynamically filled so that you can just attch your cv as a document and send an applicatiion.

Does anyone know how they have done that or indeed how it could be done so that the application gets emailed to the person advertising the job?

Hope that makes sense.
Ross :)
