If you enable AJAX (one of the shortcode options) the spinner next to the submit button will spin while the form is submitting as a visual feedback but that is the extent of the built in options. That's the max my server is set up to allow. I find that if I create a form with a file upload, then don't put any "fields" in the forwarder. I get a notification, then go to the WP admin, look under Gravity Forms submissions and the file is there. This way I don't have my email queue bogged down with some huge file. BUT, is there a file size limit somewhere or any other issues that would make Gravity Forms less than stellar for public (client) file uploads? </p>
