It sounds like this will do what I need. I won't have to redirect anyone, I would have the form under the event and the choices for each duty. Does that sound feasible?

There aren't any conditional limits like you've mentioned currently.

You can create three forms, one for speaker, one for recorder and one for timer, and have each of them have a submission limit.

You would then have to decide how you want to control getting users to those different forms. Gravity Forms doesn't have conditional redirect currently, so you would either have to create a custom function to grab which the radio button selection from another form and redirect them to the proper submission form, or just link to each of the three forms.

I have events twice a month where a limited number of people can sign up to do specific duties. For example, (5) people can sign up to give talks, (5) people can sign up to be timers, (3) people can sign up to be recorders and so on. What I'd like to do is have a form that has the several duty options and that will allow people to sign up to do a duty and once it reaches the max number (5) for example, no longer allow sign ups. Can GF do something like this?
So a form might look like this:
Sign up for 7/23/2012 for one of the following duties (with radio buttons beside them):
Speaker - Limit 5
Recorder - Limit 3
Timer - Limit 5

thanks,
Kevin
