A WordPress update should have have impacted your view count as they are stored in custom tables and not WordPress tables. Something must have happened to your database for the view counts to be cleared out. There isn't functionality in Gravity Forms itself to reset the view count.

As for why Google Analytics doesn't match up with the view count on the forms, that could be because Google Analytics is a full analytics package and is intelligent enough to distinguish duplicate page reloads, etc. Gravity Forms simply updates the view count each time the form is display. If a user reloads the page, the view count is incremented. Google Analytics probably doesn't count page reloads and has more intelligent analytics.

The view counts are extremely simple analytics, it just increments each time the form is displayed. It can't distinguish between page reloads, etc. So they are a general guide. Although the fact that there is such a large disconnect is kind of odd.

Not sure what happened but sometime in the last week my form view count disappeared although my entry count did not. It may have happened on the last WordPress update (I am on 3.0.5) but not sure. What's going on? Also, related I was having some issues trying to reconcile my form hits (which were somewhere north of 30,000 last time I could see them) with Google Analytics which was telling me ~8,000. Any obvious reason for this? I had the form embedded in a page on the site.

Thanks -

Rachle
