You can just delete your test entries from the WP backend. If the form directs to PayPal and shows the correct items and price - you are good to go. The user will log in and pay. Nothing will show up in the PayPal account until someone actually pays for a transaction. That's why you can just delete your test form entries from the backend in WordPress under our Forms tab.

Hey guys,

I am about to take a site live that I have been working on. It has a few paypal integrated forms on it ... before when I was testing, I had the values set at like a nickel and a dime to test in case I accidentally purchased while testing ( i know sandbox would have been smarter but I was in a hurry).

I have no updated the prices on the site which are substantially higher.

My question is this and it's in response to this reply I got back from Rob when I asked him if I just didn't log into my paypal and confirm payment, would I be charged. He wrote ...

You don't have to pay it - which means technically a user can abandon ship if they choose to do so. However, what will happen is in the entry the payments status will show as processing - that's how you'll know they didn't pay. If the user paid the entry will show Payment Completed.

__________________________________________

Rob Harrell

Two part question. Is filling out the form, and then just not signing in after it re-directs me the smartest way at this juncture to test the site and make sure the form works?

And if so, can I log into their paypal account and do something with these "processing" requests and just delete them so we can start from scratch?

Thanks in advance ... just want to make sure everything is running smooth before I have ppl using the form. I would hate for ppl to be trying to sign up for the event and it not actually working for some reason.

Rob, or whoever else looks at this, I would be more than happy to give you the keys to the site if you felt it necessary.

Sorry for the long-winded post.
