Does it mean that if I can remotely connect to the database and insert some data to the database in exactly the same way Gravity Forms does, it would appear as a new form is submitted in the system?

Yes. I have not seen it done yet, but theoretically this is possible. If you insert all the same data that the plugin inserts when creating a form, I don't see why it would not work.

can I find the form uploading mechanism within the PHP script?

Of course. It's all unobfuscated PHP.

Hello Chris,

Thanks for the response.

Yes I can access to the MySQL database and I am aware of the tables Gravity Forms used. Does it mean that if I can remotely connect to the database and insert some data to the database in exactly the same way Gravity Forms does, it would appear as a new form is submitted in the system?

Since there is no published schema of the database, can I find the form uploading mechanism within the PHP script?

Thanks!

There is no API. There is no published schema for the database that I am aware of.

You do not need a developer license to access the database. As long as you can access the WordPress database now, you will have access to the forms and entries, which are stored in their own tables in your WordPress database.

Hello,

I am a developer and want to ask if Gravity Forms provide any web API (e.g XMLRPC) to allow adding forms to (or read from) the database? I no such, will i have the datbase schema info in the Developer Edition so that I can manually manipulate the datbase?

Thanks!

Regards,
