Sorry about that, we do have a Pre-Purchase Forum area for these types of questions. However, I hope you enjoy Gravity Forms and what it does currently offer (which is a lot)!

Hi David, thanks for your reply. I think I will have to do the organizing outside of GF and hope that the save & resume feature comes quickly. I have to admit I'm disappointed since I thought this would be a reasonably straightforward thing to do with the plugin and it's one of the main reasons I purchased. Oh well. :(

Thank you!

Gravity Forms doesn't current support a way to edit or append data after submission. And it definitely doesn't support the ability to combine data from multiple forms into a single entry.

You could use a multi-part form, but as you said, there is no save and resume function built in anywhere.

I've been thinking about this since you posted it, and I can't think of a way to entirely do this within Gravity Forms that doesn't require a huge re-write. I think kyle's solution of merging/manipulating data after based on some common key user indicator is probably the smartest way to do it.

Perhaps... seems like a lot of work though. If the entries are already there in the Wordpress admin area, there must be a way to tell GF to append the first entry with the information from the forms that follow.

Maybe it's something you can do at the export stage. Export to CSV and then manipulate the data based on email fields in each form.

Hello!

I have just downloaded a business license of Gravity forms and I'm getting to know it - looks good so far!

I'm not sure how to set up a series of forms, so I'm hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

Since GF doesn't currently have a save & resume feature and I need to gather a lot of information, I will need to split the data collection into a series of forms. How do I set it up so that as long as the visitor puts his email address in each of the forms, his information is compiled into one entry?

Any advice would be much appreciated. Thank you!
