This hasn't happened as such as of yet, but if it did happen, we would make it available through our update system as well as a notification in our support blog, but it would be hard to patch a potential old version of Gravity Forms. Basically, our security patches would have to be backwards compatible, and that isn't always the case as I'm sure you understand.

Potentially, if needed you could, through the details we release, come up with a working patch yourself or through using a competent developer.

Hi,
I was very happy to purchase the developer license today, and I fully understand that I only get one year of updates and forum support...

... but I was wondering, say there's a security problem or critical fix to Gravity Forms 14 months from now and I haven't renewed my license. Does that mean I won't be able to patch my existing forms?

Thanks for any clarification.
