@MarkB, as your issue is unrelated to the one which Ray brought up, please begin a new topic for your issue and we will address it there. Thank you.

Am seeking to add a form similar to allow adding photos and comments to a Memorial site. Can you share how you created that form or direct to documentation to accomplish that? Thanks.

From the lead developer:

We decided to keep them separate so that one doesn't affect the other. For example, if the file was placed in the media library only, and then the post were deleted, the entry would be missing the image. To change that behavior, your could use the gform_after_submission to delete the file and change the entry to point to the file in the media library folder.

You're right about that. I asked the developers for an opinion on this one. I uploaded an image using this form: http://gravity.chrishajer.com/simple-image-upload/

This is the image which was uploaded to the gravity_forms folder:
http://gravity.chrishajer.com/wp-content/uploads/gravity_forms/47-af54362ceeff1f70c4a3070370fa701c/2012/08/IMG_1327.PNG

These are now in the media folder attached to the post:

I setup a form where users can create posts, and upload a featured image, but GF is duplicating files in the system saving one copy the GF folder and another in the WordPress upload folder.

Just like this...

site.com/wp-content/uploads/2012/08/filename.jpg
site.com/wp-content/uploads/gravity_forms/2012/08/filename.jpg

Why 2 files? How can I stop that? Thanks!
