Hi Carl,

Thanks for taking the time to answer everything in detail! I've heard the rumors and read today about WPMU and WP becoming one so we're holding off with that set up until then as well.

However, we're extremely impressed with Gravity Forms so far and will definitely be purchasing a single license to get started!

Thanks again!
- Alex

The Video Tour shows a form being inserted within the HTML (code view) of the WP TinyMCE Editor. Clients usually fear code view so I'm curious - Is it possible to insert a form within the Visual/WYSIWYG view?

The shortcode tool works in the Visual editor or HTML editor. They will still see the shortcode in the visual editor. But they can use the form tool regardless of what editor view they are using.

Does Gravity Forms play well with WPMU?

Gravity Forms works with WPMU. It is designed for standard WordPress but it does work with WPMU.

If so, does it have the ability to be used as one installation that deploys throughout the entire WPMU system or would it need to be installed on a per blog/site basis?

It would need to be activated on a per blog basis. Obviously it shares the same plugin files by the nature of WPMU but you would have to activate the plugin on each site.

Are there any plans for it to work as a single install on WPMU? While this feature is not necessarily a deal breaker at this point of our research it may become important because of the desire to be able to update the plugin once and not be forced to perform multiple updates across hundreds (if our marketing plan is fruitful;-) of blogs/sites on a WPMU install.

Yes we would like to do this, however we probably won't look into doing this until at least WordPress 3.0 is released. WPMU as we know it is going away and will be merging with WordPress. There won't be WordPress and WordPress MU there will just be WordPress. This is expected to happen with the 3.0 release, so things are a bit up in the air right now as far as this goes. We are holding off because we don't want to do anything that will become obsolete with the 3.0 release.

If we purchase a single license so we can test out the Gravity Forms plugin do you offer an upgrade option to the developers version or would we need to purchase that separately?

Yes, if you purchase the single license and would like to upgrade to the developer license we can give you a coupon code that gives you an upgrade discount when purchasing the developer license.

Hello,

We're researching the possibility of using WPMU for specific niche markets and are very interested in purchasing the developers version for this purpose.

A few questions:

- The Video Tour shows a form being inserted within the HTML (code view) of the WP TinyMCE Editor. Clients usually fear code view so I'm curious - Is it possible to insert a form within the Visual/WYSIWYG view?

- Does Gravity Forms play well with WPMU?

- If so, does it have the ability to be used as one installation that deploys throughout the entire WPMU system or would it need to be installed on a per blog/site basis?

If Gravity Forms currently needs to be installed on a per blog/site basis within WPMU...

- Are there any plans for it to work as a single install on WPMU? While this feature is not necessarily a deal breaker at this point of our research it may become important because of the desire to be able to update the plugin once and not be forced to perform multiple updates across hundreds (if our marketing plan is fruitful;-) of blogs/sites on a WPMU install.

And lastly, is there a RoadMap for Gravity Forms available to view? If not at this time... no worries... we're just very interested in learning what the future holds regarding Gravity Forms.

Thank you for your time!
- Alex
