  1. I've updated all Gravity Forms, I'm running the latest version of WordPress. I've subscribed to a list I have in Aweber 4 times and I've received nothing via Aweber or my email. I receive the info in the Gravity Forms entries, but nowhere else.

Thanks in advance for your assistance!

  4. I'm having the same problem. What's the solution? (no option to send you a PM as far as I can see, plus better to keep it on this post so others can see!)

mailchimp was working fine, but aweber won't show up any subscribers for me. i've been submitting and testing for hours now and they still haven't come.

  5. @benjackson, can you please share a link to the page on your site where the form is located?

  7. so yeah, now that you've registered on the site, you'll notice you are a wordpress user but you did not get the aweber confirmation.

If I put the aweber form on the website (instead of the gravity forms one) it works fine.

I'm wondering if it's something to do with the following:

My aweber form has first and last name's separately. but in gravity forms aweber add on, when it pulls in the fields to use, it only has full name as the field, instead of separate first and last names... I'm wondering if aweber is ignoring the submission from gravity because it's not getting all the required fields.

I don't really understand, I tried it a number of times to get the separate fields, but the aweber add on never showed them no matter what i tried.

do you want me to make the user you just registered an admin so you can check it out on the back end?

  8. I do see a JavaScript error on that page. I don't think it's related to your AWeber subscriptions, but you should fix it nonetheless:

    Timestamp: 2/11/13 6:16:35 PM
Error: TypeError: $ is not a function
    Source File: http://www.katjaglieson.com/wp-content/themes/flight/js/social/flickr.js?ver=3.5
    Line: 2

I submitted the form. Can you tell me if you have an entry and if I was subscribed to the the list? I will check for email from AWeber now.

  9. actually the reverse might be true, aweber seems to be a single field for name but when the aweber form is used, it still lets you take first and last separately somehow, but with gravity forms it doesn't...but it still submits a name to that field. so i'm not sure if that's the problem....confusing.

  10. that's something to do with my theme, i don't know how to fix that.

no your submission did not come thru to aweber.

  11. Can you try remapping the fields in your form to a new AWeber feed?

Also, are you using a opt-in condition in your feed?

I did not receive any email from AWeber, just the username and password from the site.

  12. Yep I know. Yes, I've tried both of my lists, and I've tried remapping the fields about 10 times.

  13. Ben, please export this form (Forms > Import/Export, then the top center menu item "Export Forms") and email the XML file to me at chris@rocketgenius.com . I will install it and map it to an AWeber account and see if it works for me.

  15. Just to let you know, it's working perfectly now.

I've been in contact with Aweber, and they were very rude. They tried to insinuate that not only was it my code, the code was completely wrong and wouldn't even submit a form to gravity forms. I said back to them that 'don't be ridiculous', the gravity form plugin is doing the work, and yes, I do get a submission from the form, a new wordpress user is created, and it is connected to aweber, you're just not accepting the submission. Then they went to test, and it worked. They claimed that they have made NO changes and from their testing they got everything as it should be.

So they lied to me first up, saying my form code was wrong and wouldn't work at all, then when they went to test it and it worked perfectly, they claimed they made no change.

Unless you have made some change?! I don't think you could have because there's nothing with the setup that interacts with anything you can control, it's all done via my wordpress install and the plugin/add-on, and the only outside interaction is with aweber.

I think they're lying to me!

Anyway, I just tested it and it seems to be working exactly as expected now!!!

Everyone else - use mailchimp! lol

I'm only using aweber because another company I work with used it and had everything I needed set up, and so I already have a paid account and thought it better to use the paid one instead of a free mailchimp one (which I also have) as you get more features with a paid account.

Mailchimp all the way, if you're in a position to choose though!

    Thanks for your support.
