I'm not sure what the Geodata standard in the WordPress codex has to do with this implementation, the WordPress Geodata standard is just a suggestion for how to store geolocation information with a WordPress posts. It isn't necessarily applicable to Gravity Forms itself because form data isn't stored in the WordPress post tables.
We'd like to enhance the Address field in the future and geolocation enhancements are interesting, but we could only do it if we integrated with a reliable 3rd party service to provide the geolocation data.
What exactly are you looking for as far as geolocation information? Are you wanting a field that asks the user to select a location on a map and then it stored the geolocation data for the place they selected? It's not clear from the post above what exactly you would like to see added to Gravity Forms.
