after form is submited

After a person fills out form and submits it. The site comes back with either a thank you or an error box. The problem is that my form is at the bottom of the page after some info and pricing so when it comes back it comes to the top of the page and people can not see if there is an error unless they scroll down. Is there some code that can go somewhere to have the page come back at the bottom so people don't miss this.

Thanks and web page that the problem on is http://amazingacrescornmaze.com/groups/

    Thanks again for your help!

  3. You can add an anchor that the form will return to via a filter added to your functions.php file.

Check out this previous post with that information.

This would be a great addition for a future upgrade (where we can just select this feature: Yes/No)

  5. We try to keep the admin UI from getting any more cluttered than necessary so there are a lot of functions that are available via filters that don't have a home in the UI.

We try to gauge what are the most commonly used features and functions and add those to the UI. Those that are less common or more specialized are usually implemented via a filter. When it comes down to it, it's pasting a couple of lines into your functions file one time..

After a form is submitted, I get a message on the screen, saying "thank you for submitting..."

Where is that message set up and can it be different for each form?

  9. Yes, you can change the message for each form. You edit the message in the form settings under the "confirmation" tab.

Is there a way that after the form is submitted, I can recieve an email to an email not affiliated with the wordpress? Hopefully my personal email? And if so, can I see a screenshot of the format it comes in?

  12. @matthartless Yes. Forms have notification email capabilities. They have an Admin Notification which is designed to go to you or whoever you want, and a User Notification which is designed to go to the user submitting the form itself as a one time autoresponder.

There is no set format, you have control over the email that is sent. It's customizable.
