Authorize.net Recurring Amount and Setup Fee

  1. I am trying to use auth.net where both monthly recurring and setup fees are to be included in one form.

    1. Seem to have all ARB options in place.
    2. I don't want to have monthly recurring to be included in the one-time setup fee. But it seems that only form pricing fields are options to be associated to the recurring value and all form pricing fields seem to be included in the total field which will be used to calculate the one-time fee.
    3. It seems that the form total field cannot be associated to the one-time fee / Setup fee?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thanks.

  2. Do you have a link to your form so I can see how it's currently setup?

  3. Was a bit silly not including it. Sorry about that. Thanks for getting back so quickly.

You should see two "Monthly Hosting Package" fields on the form. Was uses a pricing field...the other doesn't. I would like this value to be the recurring amount, but not be included in the one-time set up fee that's calculated beneath it.

    Make sense?

    Thanks,

    Matt

  4. Matt,

I see what you mean. The "Total" here is going to add up all of the selected product fields on the form. However, your feed is where the magic happens. That's where you are going to select the one-time field to be the setup fee and then your other monthly field as the recurring piece of the feed. In this case, you're best bet would probably be to not use the Total field.
