Auto populate a form after another form with simillar field is submitted??

  1. Hi, I want to purchase gravity forms for a particular reason. I have one form that has 3 fields and another with same 3 fields + other fields. Here, I want to automatically populate the 2nd form when the 1st form is submitted and redirected to the 2nd form page. Is it possible to do??
    Thanks

  2. Yes, you can pass the values using the query string. This is built in and is called dynamic population. http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/Using_Dynamic_Population

How do i pass the values using query string from my first form to the 2nd form.

e.g. The user puts his name in form 1. He hits submit which saves the first form and then sends the user to another page which loads another form in which i want to pre-populate the "Name" field with the value the user put in form 1.

Please advise as i cannot see how to do this. I was thinking multipage forms bit this will not work as the squeeze form is in a side bar and is separate to the one i want them to build.

    Thanks
