Can gravity form do this?

Sorry I'm new to Wordpress and trying to create a site as fast as possible so I don't know exactly how everything works in WP yet.

I want users to register and then once registered have the ability to submit a post with a URL and picture. The post must be connected to that user, so that I can create a page for the author's posts.

    Does Gravity Forms allow this?

  2. Gravity Forms doesn't currently register users, although a User Registration Add-On is in development and nearing beta status.

Gravity Forms CAN create posts, including images by using the Post Fields in the form builder. A post can automatically be attributed to the user filling out the form if they are logged in when they fill out the form.

To prevent a user that is not logged in from filling out a form you would have to use an access control plugin such as the Members plugin to control access to the page the form is embedded on.

  3. What Carl said.

Plus, I've already created pretty much what you are asking using GF and Members plugin. I've also set up the registration of users to integrate with Members so any custom user roles you create can easily be connected via registration.

    Process kinda goes like this:

Click button -> send User Role to Registration form
User fills out name and email
Submit -> user emailed password, and user role via hidden field is now set to that user.
