Can Gravity Forms be used to create survey questionnaires?

    Hi,
I need a tool to create survey forms for my site and was wondering if Gravity forms (GF) can accomplish this.
Can GF tabulate results for individual fields?
Is there a limit to the number of pages in a form?
Can I create custom looks for each form e.g. fonts, colors, images etc.?
Are there examples of people using GF for other than contact forms that I could see?

I'm creating a review site and curious to know if GF is up to the task. If not, can you suggest something else?

    Thanks

  2. Gravity Forms can be used for simple surveys but it doesn't tabulate results across multiple entries so there are much more powerful options for this. We may create a Survey add-on in the future that adds this time of functionality.

Currently the plugin only supports single page forms. Multi-page form capabilities is coming in an upcoming release we are working on.

The forms can be styled using CSS. There is no built in visual design editor. There is built in CSS that styles the form in a format that looks good with pretty much any theme and then you can customize it however you want via CSS.

Thanks Carl. Will it be possible to simply list the number of completed forms? For example if its a restaurant being reviewed. Can it show the number of completed reviews?

Is it possible to sort the completed forms by a field e.g. the "would you recommend" field? or the date field? So the results would show by most recent date, or 5 star reviews?

Can you recommend any survey options that might be better suited for this? For Wordpress that is?

  4. You can view entries so you could view the completed reviews and you can also sort by field.

PollDaddy has excellent survey capabilities and WordPress integration, I would recommend checking them out. http://www.polldaddy.com
