Can't eliminate double opt-in despite having it unchecked

  1. Hi, we purchased gravity forms to specifically eliminate the need for "double opt-in" when using Mailchimp. However, when I have the "double opt-in" box unchecked, forms submissions are still sent an opt-in email and are required to respond prior to being added to the Mailchiimp list.

How do I get this to work so "double opt-in" is not required?

    Thank you.

  2. Can you post a link for the page on your site where this form is embedded?

Also, can you try remapping a new feed for this form and then delete the old feed? That sometimes works as well.

It's the second form on the right.......

Thank you, as we are really trying to get this solved ASAP.

    Thanks...

  4. It's strange that you could not delete the old feed. Now you have two Mailchimp feeds for one form?

Can you please export the form as XML and email it to me at chris@rocketgenius.com? Thank you.

  7. Sorry, I should have explained that. Go to the Forms menu, then "Import/Export" and on the next page, the top center menu item will be "Export Forms". Select your one form and click 'export' and attach the resulting file to an email to me.

I did subscribe using the sidebar widget, and I got two opt-in emails (I wondered if that was because there were two feeds?) Is it possible Mailchimp has limited your account in some way to always require a double opt-in? This is not how the add-on normally works. But if you export your form, I will configure it on my end and see if I can recreate the problem.
