Categories as checkbox (not only dropdowns)

    It would be great to be able to add to select more than one categorie.

    We will be adding the ability to have checkboxes in the future, it's tough because if you have a lot of categories... it could be a LOT of checkboxes. But I guess it's up to the user.

    For now you can add multiple Post Category fields to a form, it will save all of them. so if you want them to select 3 categories, you can add 3 Post Category fields to your form.

    Carl, you're right that it would be a lot of checkboxes, but that doesn't mean that we can't use a subset of checkboxes and THAT is what I am trying (DYING!) to do. I really need this function because it looks so crappy otherwise. It looks unprofessional with 80 categories when I can't let people do multiple selections.

    We are currently working on other development right now, but 1.5.3 is tentatively planned for July. It's going to be a feature release with a bunch of new features.

    Will this be in the next, imminent, release???

    I've only used your product for 28 hours and already it's done all I expected it to do and more - but this is a final essential choice on my form (I have to split my categories up to make it easier for the user and only choose one category, but I need a final selection of four where they can choose them all in theory. Maybe it's there and I've missed it!

    Managed to split this down into different menus by using a checkbox with five selections in it that then open up menus that are either single choice or multiple choice depending on the first checkbox selected... But I've realised that I'll need this as a Custom Post Type with Taxonomies, so problem solved in one respect, but back to the drawing board (as you can't select your taxonomies as you can your categories in a drop down at present).
