Condition to Set a Subscription's "Recurring Times" (Authorize.net/PayPal)

It would be quite helpful for me to allow the form-filler to choose if the "Recurring Times" is infinite or fixed. Can we set this value per submission based on conditions from the form values?

This way I can set some subscriptions to be infinite while others fixed for a set number of periods all from the same form...

  2. We have a similar need. We'd love to allow user to enter a donation amount and then pick the number of times to occur. It seems the only solution now is to offer a drop down with various choices and set up an authorize.net feed for each one. A bit cumbersome and limiting to our users.

Basically, I'd like the number of recurring times to be set by a post value rather than fixed in the authorize.net feed I create.

Does anyone know if the gravity-forms-subscriptions plugin works with PayPal Pro or only PayPal standard. I have PayPal Pro and don't see any specific instructions on how to use with that add-on.

  7. That is a question for the author of the subscription plugin. However, looking through the plugin code here, it looks like he is using the query string to send to PayPal, and also checks for the existence of the gravityformspaypal folder, which is the folder name for "Standard", not Pro.

Thank you for your response, Chris.
I did notice that the Gravity Forms PayPal Pro Add-on supports recurring payments, but cannot find instructions on how to set it up. Since that is a Gravity Forms add-on, can you tell me where to find such documentation?

  9. The documentation is located here: http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/PayPal_Payments_Pro_Add-On

    Specifically:

Select the PayPal Pro Transaction Type. You can choose from Products and Services which is a single one time payment, or Subscriptions if you have enabled PayPal Pro's Recurring Billing option in the PayPal Payments Pro Add-On Settings.

    ...

If you have chosen a Subscription as your Transaction Type you will be given options for the Recurring Amount, Billing Cycle, Recurring Time, Trial Period and Setup Fee. These are used to setup the recurring payment profile. The Trial Period and Setup Fee should not be used together, you would use one or the other.

Any word from the dev team on implementing this feature for all payment processors?

  11. What are you referring to exactly? Which payment processors are you interested in? The PayPal Pro add-on supports recurring billing now and the Authorize.net add-on supports ARB for recurring billing.

    +1000 for this option please

  13. We would also like this feature to be implemented. User should be able to specify the billing cycle and recurring time options.
