conditional logic after submission, i.e. notification

I was looking at the demos available and I can't tell if this plugin allows conditional logic after the submission of the form. For example, I want to be able to use one or more fields that were submitted via the post to determine who the notification should go to. Is this possible? We have a purchase request form that has a complex set of conditions for routing requests: format of the material, department the person is from, etc.

In some instances a request needs to go two places. Can a form submission be sent to multiple addresses?

    Thanks in advance,
    Jack

  2. You can use routing, which is built in to Gravity Forms. It allows you to say "if the visitor wants sales information, send the notification email to sales@example.com" or "if the visitor wants general information, send the notification to info@example.com".

You can use multiple email addresses in one line; separate them with a comma and it will work fine (dependent on the configuration of your web host.)

There is also a BCC field.

Sounds like all you want to accomplish is possible with Gravity Forms.

  3. Jack - what you are describing sounds a lot like a form/logic I just created. Let me know if you still need help.

  4. Sorry to be a n00b,

I see from searching the support forums here, that what I want to do is "email routing" and that's it built into gravity forms. That's good!

I am sure there is already a example, tutorial, or "how-to" on how to set this up.

I, too, want the user to be able to select a drop down and based on that drop down, the comments the contact form routes to the right email addr.

Do I setup a conditional form?

Or am I missing a simple button to add to allow this?

I am not a wordpress guy, but have moved our little league's website from a html editor type of site to wordpress and went with gravity forms for our CONTACT form.

Thanks in advance for guiding me to the right forum, or post that may already contain this information, but I am missing it from my search criteria.

  5. Rob, if you look at this screenshot of the notifications page:

    http://www.gravityhelp.com/documentation/page/File:Notifications-to-administrator.png

You will see at the top in the Send To section, you can select routing. When you do so, you should see the drop down field you created with the options, so you can setup multiple rules based on the drop down that was selected.
