Creating A Custom Order Form

  1. Hi I am trying to create an order form. I want the order form to have three options, and let the user choose one. Each option will have a slightly different price multiplier. Then on this order form, I would like the user to be able to input a number in the text area (how many words). Then to calculate/show the order price based on that input and based on which of the three pricing options they choose. At the end of the order form, when the user presses "submit", I want them to be taken to a payment gateway via Paypal and such.

So for instance, I have three options such as (copywriting/ghostwriting/press release writing). The user choose copywriting. Then they will have a text area to input how many words they want the copy to be. They put in 500. Then the form will take the 500 and multiply it by whatever multiplier I choose (say $.10 per word). Afterward, the form will show the total price (500 *.10) and then have a submit button where it takes them to the Paypal (or checkout) screen with the payment amount for them to pay.

Would something like this be possible with Gravity Forms without heavy editing? Thanks.

  2. You can do this with Gravity Forms using our calculation fields. Just post on the support forum if you get stuck after your purchase. Keep in mind to use one of the payment add-ons we have, you'll need a developer's license.
