    Is there a way to configure gravity forms so that the form designer who is logged into Wordpress can only see / edit those forms they created rather than allow all users to see (and change/delete) eachothers forms ..

    No. Gravity Forms permissions are not that granular at this time. I'll move this to feature requests. Thank you.
