Custom Posts and Taxonomies

  1. The folks at Studiopress recommended Gravity Forms for what I am trying to accomplish and I want to make sure I can do this. I am creating a searchable directory with their AgentPress theme and would like to use Gravity Forms for advertisers to enter their information in the form to populate the taxonomy fields and then allow them to make payment via paypal.

From an earlier support forum topic, looks like this is not able to be accomplished with Gravity Forms and there isn't an Add-On for it. A 3rd party plug-in was suggested, but there seem to be some problems with it based on the topic conversation

Is there another solution? Can you tell me if this will be an available Add-On or if there are other plugins available that can help me? Just want to make sure before I purchase the developer license.

    Many Thanks
    Lisa

  2. There are no add-ons from us which will handle taxonomies. There is the 3rd party add-on you referenced: http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/gravity-forms-custom-post-types/ It's been a while since it's been updated however. I'm not sure if that is in active development or if it continues to work with Gravity Forms. I'm sorry there is no built in solution in Gravity Forms which will help you with the taxonomies.
